El Tráfico Takeover
For Adidas Fútbol Society’s El Tráfico event, we transformed a space in LA’s La Brea District into a dynamic celebration of soccer culture, community, and rivalry. Inspired by the city’s deep Latinx heritage and passionate fútbol fandom, the activation honored the historic clash between LA’s two iconic football clubs while unveiling Mexico’s FMF Fed Kit ahead of Copa América. Guests explored a curated archival photography exhibit, stepped into a fan portrait studio, and won exclusive locker prizing. The opening party elevated the experience with LAG, LAFC, and FMF-themed nail art, locally sourced Mexican cuisine, and team-inspired signature cocktails.
Beyond the rivalry, the event showcased the evolution of Adidas’ legendary Predator cleat, a retail bodega stocked with Adidas Originals and MLS jerseys, and a customization station where fans personalized their gear. Collaborating with cultural tastemakers like SoccerBible, Remezcla, and Bueno It Means Good, this pop-up activation seamlessly blended sport, community, and culture. Fans immersed themselves in the experience, engaging with interactive installations and soaking in the electric energy of El Tráfico. From die-hard supporters to casual spectators, the event brought together LA’s fútbol scene in an unforgettable way.
